Microphone does not work when on the phone

The microphone does not work on live view when on the phone. If you call 911, you can not talk to the bad guy at the same time. You must hang up the phone so the microphone and speaker illuminate so you can use it. It used to work now it does not. This is a major safety issue and if it does not get corrected we will have to switch to a different security system.
