Hello. We got our ring doorbell a few days ago. My neighbour from across the street came over and told us that there doorbell rings whenever someone rings ours. How can I stop this happening?
Hi @Dickie! That should not be happening, as all of our devices require a secure setup and connection process that would leave it with only the one unique connection on your account in your Ring app. It is possible that a person arriving to ring your Doorbell is getting detected by your neighbour's motion, leading to a notification. If your Doorbell ring volume is turned up to play at the door when the button is pushed, the neighbours may be mistaking it for theirs. I hope this helps! :)
