Doorbell2 does not capture motion

Hi Everyone, Recently bought a house that came with a Ring Doorbell 2. The Doorbell allows for Live feed but does not capture any motion when there is movement in front of it. I got a Spotlight Cam as well and connected the two devices. The Spotlight Cam will detect motion when there is movement and the Doorbell is setup to record when that happens. That is the only way the Doorbell will actually record. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I recently did a hard reset on the Doorbell and set it up again. Thanks

Have you ensured the Doorbell is set up to record motion through the [Modes](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-your-Ring-Cameras-with-Modes) feature?       Hi Chelsea, Yes the Doorbell is set up to record motion. I spoke with Sarah (L1 Community Support; support@ring.mail.kustomerapp.com) and we did some trouble shooting that did not work. She was going to be speaking with a colleague about the issue. I missed her next call but responded to her email. I haven't received anything else from her about trying to get the issue fixed so I will need to call the support line again. Thanks,
