Doorbell Notifications

I recently upgraded my original doorbell to the doorbell 2. I’ve never had issues with notifications with the original doorbell..  Since upgrading, the new doorbell 2 is not sending any notifications to my iPhone or my wife’s. It is recording events, but no notifications.  I have three floodlight cameras that send notifications just fine. I contacted Ring and was advised to return my doorbell 2 from Amazon and order another. Did that, same issue.  Now I’m turning to you. Has anyone encountered this?
