Batteries get stuck in the battery compartment
I have several stick up ring cameras, I use all with batteries. I have had two units where the battery has been very hard to remove and I am reluctant to put any batteries back in those two. The batteries I finally did remove fit very nicely in another camera I tried them in. Inspecting the faulty compartments I noted that the sides of the compartments had ridges. The one that I tested the removed batteries in had smooth sides. Any advice abut what is going on? (Sorry if this is confusing.)

The 2 I have had the problem with are 3rd Gen, and yes I am using the quick release battery packs. The camera itself works fine when I covert it to use mains electricity. I just can not use batteries anymore. I have been using these units outdoors and I am wondering if the weather has warped the battery compartments.

Hi @user_c4c0ba. Which model of Stick Up Cam do you have? You can find the device name on the Device Health page in the Ring app. It should list something like Stick Up Cam 2nd Gen, or Stick Up Cam 3rd Gen. To confirm, you're using the Ring Quick Release Battery Pack, correct?
