Ring doorbell upgrade.

I’ve had the old ring doorbell 2nd generation, but find it increasingly a bind to remove it for recharging, plus, leaving no visible protection on my front door. And, frustratingly, there is no replacement battery available, so to combat these difficulties I’ve purchased the later model which has a removable battery but allows the visitor to view I’ve actually got a ring doorbell. I’m going to disable the old one from my system and that leads me to my account. I already pay a monthly subscription and of course want to use that for my new ring doorbell, so can I transfer that account, or do I cancel and start again?

    Hi @user_26a5d7. That depends on which Ring subscription you have. The Basic plan only applies to one device, so you would need to cancel and resubscribe for your new device. If you have the Plus plan currently, this will apply to all Ring Doorbells and Security Cameras at the same location, so no changes are necessary.
