Change camera on Basic Plan
My Basic plan renewed in November. In December the Ring Doorbell started playing up by turning off randomly, reporting low battery, so I purchased a new battery, factory reset, etc. but nothing worked. So i purchased a new Ring Doorbell, but I cannot see how I can remove the Basic Plan from the faulty one, to the new one. From what I am understanding its not possible, and I have to buy another basic plan! If this is correct then its ridiculous and a con! All this technology and you can't change faulty devices without spending even more money! Can someone confirm if this is correct or if there is a way around this as I'm not happy about having to pay for another years subscription after only getting a few months out the previous one.

Hi @user_972e23. It usually takes us a day or two to get to all the messages here in the Community. We do not answer posts immediately, we answer them in the order they came in. Thank you for being patient while we worked out way to your post. In any case, Ring Home Plans are per device/location. Home Plans do not transfer from device to device. Instead, you'll need to cancel the plan for the device you don't need, and subscribe to a new plan. Then, you'll cancel your old plan and receive a pro-rated refund for it. It can take a few days, depending on your financial institution. I hope this is helpful information.
