Trouble Removing Faceplate of Wired Doorbell Pro

I got a new router and need to reset my doorbell with the new router info and password. However I'm using the torx screwdriver provided by Ring and unable to remove the screw so that i can removed the faceplate of my Wired Doorbell Pro. I tried using a rubber band on the top of the torx in case screwed was stripped but that didn't work either. Anyone have any ideas on what i can do? I would appreciate it.
