Defining small motion zones - can I remove some points/dots?

Trying to define a motion zone for my new Stick Up Cam Pro camera. First off, doing this on a tiny phone screen in the app is extremely difficult. I can't believe this can't be done on ring.com. To my problem: it seems like there is a limit to how close together the dots outlining a zone can be. With 8 dots, this makes it VERY hard to define a small zone (like outlining a window). I don't need 8 points on some of these zones. Is there a way to either remove a few dots, or allow them to be closer together?
