can't login to ring app on IOS

I completed my account creation on my laptop and set up 2FA successfully, then when I try to login to Ring app on my iPhone I reach the verification code step, when I enter the code I received on my phone number or authenticator app ( I tried both ) the app says " authentication failed, please try try again" I've been trying to login for 2 days and still getting the same error, I uninstalled the app and reinstall it multiple times yet nothing changes. something I noticed is that my phone shows as unrecognized device on the control center > authorized client devices although it's not verified and keeps asking for verification  I'm based outside the US and I'm not sure if this is the reason for this issue
