Is there a way to disable CO detection on First Alert Smoke/CO Alarm

I wanted to put a Smoke/CO detector in my garage, but after a false alarm call, found that car fumes in the garage triggered the CO alarm. Is there a way to disable the CO detection on the First Alert unit or is there a SMOKE ONLY detector I can install in the garage? Thanks! John

I have asked Ring about this and it is not possible. You should really have a rate of rise heat detector in the garage and a RIng listener. Too bad First Alert doesn't make a ZWave RoR detector...
