Ring No Drill Doormount

I bought this no drill doormount and within 3 months it has failed. We have just had to recharge our Ring Doorbell for the first time and when trying to put it back into the No Drill mount, it won't stay in place.Anyone else experienced this? Looks like I've spent £18 for a piece of plastic that has lasted approx 10 weeks.
