Need higher volume alerts at night

I'm hard of hearing, so am looking for a device to amplify the volume of "person detected" alerts at night when I'm asleep vs the low volume that the notification to my cellphone provides. Would adding a RING Chime to my system do the trick? Can the Chime be adjusted to a higher volume than you get with a phone notification? Thank-you!
