Chime 2nd Gen not sounding every time when doorbell button is pressed
I recently purchased a Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and Chime 2nd Gen. Installed them both and they were fine for the first few weeks. Now all of a sudden, the chime does not sound when the doorbell button is pressed. A notification comes through on mine and my partners phones and the doorbell button has a blue spinning light. If you wait for the blue spinning light to stop and press the button again, the chime sounds as if there's nothing wrong and will continue to sound when the button is pressed for a little while after. It then magically stops working again after a period of time, meaning deliveries might be missed if I don't specifically see the notification on my phone. I don't seem to have an issue with the doorbell picking up motion or people and recording, just the chime when the button is pressed. I have removed the chime from my account, reset it with the button and re connected it. This doesnt seem to have made a difference, worked as soon as i connected it and then the dame story. Period of time elapses, then the chime doesnt soind when the button is pressed. The doorbell and chime are both about 15-20 feet from the wifi source. And the chime is configured to only make a sound on doorbell button press. As of writing this the doorbell is stating RSSI -57, I have seen it around -43 and the chime is stating RSSI -46. I don't know what else to do as calling support is quite inconvenient during the week (I'll probably have to call them on the weekend) and they dont have email support and chat support are useless and told me to call them as chat cant help with tech support. From looking around too, it would appear that I'm not the only person that has this issue but still didnt see any solutions.

When the doorbell is pressed, the event is showing as a ring event and the notification on our phones has a bell icon and the text there's somebody at your front door or whatever the exact text is but no chime. I have also included a Chime Pro into the mix now to reduce the RSSI of the doorbell from high -50s to high -20s low -30s. Afther setting that up and moving the other chime upstairs, I popped out to the shop. When I returned I pressed the doorbell...nothing, just a blue spinning light on the doorbell and a few seconds later a notification on my phone. Neither chime made a sound.

Hi @_Daniel. Thanks for this information. When reviewing your History in the Ring app, during the periods when your Chime is not sounding, are these events registering as a Ring event or Motion Event? Additionally, if you'd like another option for support, you can reach out to @Ring on Facebook via a private message and one of our support team members can assist you.
