Warning - Ring is Scamming Their Own Customers
I just happened to notice on my credit card statement that I had been billed for double my annual plan amount. Upon calling Ring customer support, the agent literally admitted on the phone that they had been upgrading customers to the premium plan without their consent. He said they may have sent an email, but I likely just didn't get it. Email or not, it is completely unacceptable to upgrade your customer's plan without their willing consent. As a security company, you are now losing the trust of your loyal customers. I feel terribly sorry for all of those who will not notice & Ring will steal their money with this scam. Additionally, the agent I spoke to was incredibly rude the moment I mentioned that this is very scammy. He tried to not give me a full refund at first. I had to continuously repeat that I would only accept a full refund and that I absolutely did not consent to this. Absolutely shameful.

Hi @user_b733fd. I'm sorry to hear that you had this critical billing error. It sounds like you were able to get a full refund but if by chances things have not been made right, feel free to send us a private message on Facebook or X @Ring so we can resolve this. Thank you.
