Online Access to my Ring Account
I’m experiencing an issue involving access to my Ring account from my PC that I’ve never had before. When attempting to access my account from the “ring.com/users/sign_in” page, I get the response “Too many attempts. Please wait a few minutes, then try again.” Well, despite waiting more than “a few minutes”, I am still unable to access my account. I’m not sure what “too many attempts” means; if I did, I might be better able to manage access to my Ring account. Perhaps Ring should post the login criteria on the Login page. So...I’m still not able to access my Ring account from my PC. Is there a customer service number I can call to rectify the problem?

Update: Through Community chat, my issue was elevated to the tech support team. Through phone discussion with a tech representative, I found out that there is an algorithm in the login web page that automatically locks users out of their accounts after “too many” login attempts (ill-defined). This “lock-out” is systemically removed after “24-hours”. Because “24-hours” is not a fix datum for all regions that Ring services globally, it was suggested/acknowledged that the online login page should have a counter that informs users of remaining login attempts with the system’s 24-hour clock. So I was told to wait-out my current “lock-out” and to reach out to the tech team, again, should this systemic feature not resolve itself within a reasonable amount of time. So, for right now, I’ll just have to wait and see.
