Connectivity Issues

For over a year my ring was connecting to a Google mesh wifi router in my basement. RSSI was in the 40s and it worked fine. About 3 months ago RSSI begin to worsen and I could not connect to live view via the phone app, it would just sit on "activating device.". Because of that I moved one of the mesh nodes so that it was 10 feet away from the door the ring is mounted by. I verified in the google wifi app that the ring is connecting to this closer node. RSSI is now somehow even worse and I continue to be unable to live view or even answer rings. Ring app states the device is healthy, though RSSI fluctuates from the 50s to the 60s. Any ideas?
