Chime loses connection to wifi

Why do I have to post the same problem in 2025 as people had in 2020? Is ring really that unbothered by these problems and the bad reviews they get for it?My chime is connected to a strong 2.4ghz wifi. It is located no teven a mere 10ft from the router, which is not hidden behind a closet door, or behind a wall...its sitting there, open and visible, on a small wooden shelf. I have tried 3 different 2.4ghz wifi networks, changed channels of these wifis, AND reset the (Edited per community guidelines) thing, all without any result. My wifi derives from a 1 gigabit glassfibre internet connection and NO devices have any connection issues... just the chime. Can I return the whole set and get a refund? (doorcamera, garden camera and chime) eventhough i have had it for about 4 months, with 4 months of problems?Or do we, unhappy users, have start spam your social media accounts with all the problems we face, so that we may warn potential buyers for these stupid, unfixed, problems?

Hi @user_fadf55. You mention having multiple Ring devices - are you experiencing connection issues with those as well, or only the Chime? Have you moved the Chime to a different location to see if the disconnections persist? Network and connection issues can be tricky due to all the variables at play, so there isn't usually a single solution that can be applied. You have 30 days from the date you received your order to initiate a return for a refund. Once that time frame has passed, your order is no longer eligible for a refund. You can review Ring's return policy here.
