Adding a camera

I have the $30 plan that keeps the video on my doorbell. I just added a camera. Do I need to pay an additional $30 for the same thing on the camera?

Hi @Mkf. Yes, that is correct! You have the [Ring Protect Basic plan,](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022109691-Ring-Protect-Basic-Plan-Information) which covers the recording on one Ring device. Once you add a new device, you'll receive a free trial but after that free trial ends, you would need to subscribe to another Basic plan for the new device in order to cover the recording. Should you choose to continue to expand your Ring of Security and add more devices, you can look into the [Ring Protect Plus plan](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021900312-Ring-Protect-Plus-Information) as well, which will cover all Ring devices at one location.
