Fix 3rd Gen Stickup Cam (Plug-In) Thumbnail Refresh Frequency in Wired Mode
I’d like to request the thumbnail refresh frequency in the Ring app and Ring.com be updated for the Stickup Cam 3rd Gen when in wired/powered mode. Thumbnails for wired devices update every 30 seconds or so while battery-powered devices update every 10 minutes. When you’re running the 3rd Gen Stickup Cam in Wired mode, the camera has all the other features of a wired device. Can the refresh rate in the Ring app and website be updated to mirror wired devices? I understand why it’s only every 10 minutes when in Battery Mode, but since power is not an issue if hardwired, I’d love for the thumbnail to refresh every 30 seconds or so like other wired devices.

I Second this. So my Stick up cam outdoor wired doesn't update the thumbnail like my doorbell. It can go 7 or 8 minutes until it refreshes. is this your experience also?

Didn’t see this mentioned anywhere, but Ring has implemented this now. As of maybe last week, my three 3rd Gen Stickup cams (all in Wired Mode) now refresh the preview image every 30-60 seconds or so like a true wired device. They no longer refresh like a battery device refreshig every 10 minutes even though they’re in Wired Mode. Appreciate this update!
