Ring doorbell charged my credit card twice in December 12/3/24 again on 12/11/24 for my yearly renewal. Disputed only of the two charges, not both and discover investigation and cancel one of the charges and paid one of the charges for the yearly service. Ring turned off my recording service in April for the cancelled payment. Contacted customer service and explained that I was charged twice on my discover card in December and sent them a copy of my statement with charges to ring on 12/3 and again on 12/11/24. They stated they don’t have a payment on 12/3/24 and only cancelled payment on 12/11/24 so they turned off. After 3 hours on the phone and sending proof of two discover charges and only one canceled, but payment to ring, they would not turn service back on. Asked to speak to billing department and was told they don’t have one? Asked to speak to supervisor and was told they don’t have one available, they are off shore? Troubling that they were sent proof of payment to ring on two dates and there system only has one? The payment were same plan and number and I only have one account and device. Payment is with same card and account billed every year for several years. Was told I have to contact discover? Discover already investigated the dispute of being billed twice for same renewal and paid one charge on removed one. So I paid for a service that I am not receiving. I asked customer service for the notes in my dispute and stopped payment for one of the charges. They only have the stoped payment on the 12:11/24 payment and no record of the payment on 12/3/24? So they can charge you, twice , three times or four get paid and turn you off because you dispute the overpayment? Who do contact at ring to dispute wrongfully charges and show that they were paid but not marked in their system? Help
