Solar Floodlight Battery Levels

troubleshooting

I have had a Solar Floodlight installed for about a month. I just added a 2nd battery to it. I’d like to know how the battery charge levels are calculated, as the percentages are not shown “per battery” (as with the solar battery spotlight cam), rather there is only a single percentage showing. After operating for 8+ hours overnight, the battery level still shows 100%, which cannot be possible. Does anyone know if there is a way to see each of the 2 batteries current charge state, or how the battery level percentages are calculated when 2 batteries are installed?

As of right now 11/20/2022; ring app feature for battery floodlight only show the battery level! You dont know if it is charing or not (I also have a solar panel). Like your wondering, don’t know why Ring can make the floodlights battery status like the battery camera! So frustrated!

I installed a Ring Solar Floodlight with a single fully-charged battery yesterday. I tested it out and everything seemed to be operating fine, EXCEPT the battery level under device health indicated a 0% charge. I know that's not right, so this morning I repositioned the battery from the right slot to the left one on the off chance that would give me an accurate reading; it did not. Thinking maybe I had a bad battery, I replaced it with a brand new and fully charged battery, first in one slot and then in the other, but still got a 0% charged reading. As a final test, I added the second battery so that both slots were occupied with a fully charged battery, but the battery reading remains 0%. ![Battery Health|461x500](upload://2PndIhI4uiOOaV2Qo6aiN3sYpfF.jpeg) Can someone let me know if this is normal, or what the cause and fix might be? Thank you
