Transformer question for wired doorbell pro
hardwired-video-doorbell

Currently, I have a nest doorbell, but not really happy with it's performance. I am considering trading it out for a Wired Ring Doorbell Pro, and after some research, I am getting different feedback on the transformer it requires. Most say that a 16VAC / 10VA is suffice, even on Rings website. However, I read some Ring support comments  in review sections that the transformer needs to be 16VAC / 30VA minimum. The nest only required 10VA, and I was wondering if it would be adequate should I opt for the Pro. Thanks...

Hi @Jeskickin. The Wired Doorbell Pro requires a 16-24 VAC/24VDC, 10-40VA max, 50/60Hz transformer. I believe your transformer would be sufficient for the Pro.
