Ring Video Doorbel 2nd Gen and Solar Panel

Hi all, In need of some guidance please. Solar panel is connected and when testing with a multimeter getting 5V - In the Ring app it does not show solar status as connected and does not charge. Where do I begin troubleshooting ?

    Hi @Solarfinity. I was able to find this Community [post](https://community.ring.com/t/ring-doorbell-solar-charger-not-charging-batteries/205060) where other neighbors mentioned having a similar concern to yours. There is a marked solution with steps to try and what to do if those steps do not work.
