Ring doorbells 2 & 3
The clear image is my Ring doorbell 2, the darker, almost useless one, is my doorbell 3. I had the 2 sitting on top of the 3 and both screenshots were taken at the same time. Or, at most, two seconds apart. Why is the 3’s image so horrible compared to the 2’s image, and what can I do to fix it.

I have tried every possible configuration in video settings and nothing changes. And the light was on for both; everything was exactly the same. I took the screenshot of the 2 and then the 3 immediately after.

J@user_9682c3. Thank you for that information. I would also suggest factory resetting to see if it helps. To reset it, press and hold the setup button on it for 20-25 seconds then reconnect it to your Wi-Fi. If you have tried this step and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.

Hi @user_9682c3. What setting do you have enabled in your Video Settings for your Doorbell 3? You will find this option in your Doorbells Device Settings page. Also, the image for your Doorbell 2 seems like you have a porch light on, is that same light on as well for your Doorbell 3?
