How to keep camera active all the time
I use a Windows PC in my office as well as a Ring doorbell that is hard-wired for electricity but uses a wireless connection to the router. Whenever I get a message that there is motion at the front door, I will click the browser link to the camera expecting to see what the camera is imaging. However, I always have to first click a button that says "Reconnect" before the image becomes visible - which ads a few seconds to receiving the camera image. Is there a way to keep the camera constantly connected so that when I click on that link the image appears immediately?

It does have all those things. But I always have to go through the 'reconnect' screen when trying to access the camera. Is the doorbell supposed to stay connected all the time? Or is it designed to disconnect, requiring the owner to reconnect when needed? Is there a setting somewhere that can be changed? Attached is the screen I see.

HI @user_52392f. At this time, Live View on Ring Doorbells and Security Cameras will automatically time out after about 10 minutes. If you have the Live View going and let it time out, you will see this screen prompting you to reconnect.

UHi, thank you for the explanation. I hope they make a change in that policy and allow the owner to decide whether the connection will time out or not. As it is, the reconnection process takes such a long time that I never see who is at my door for deliveries, etc. By the time I get a connection, the delivery person is gone. Very frustrating!
