I have a Floodlight Cam Wired Pro where the security lights are constantly coming on and going off all night long, but nothing is triggering the camera to record.

What movement is the camera using to trigger the security lights that isnt enough for it to start recording?

Are the light settings just over sensitive, or is the camera missing stuff it should be recording.

I have had to turn the lights off for now to stop them triggering all night long.

Hi @user_c805a9. The lights on the Floodlight Cam have a separate range of motion detection than the camera. This can result in the lights coming on from motion that is not within the camera's range of motion detection.

If your Floodlight Cam's lights are frequently coming on at night, you may want to reduce the Light Sensitivity slider. This is located under Device Settings > Light Settings > Light Sensitivity.

The floodlights use passive infrared detectors (PIR) to detect motion in three 90 degree arcs around the device. Reflective surfaces or sources of heat, such as vents or appliances, can trigger the motion detection. You can select Motion Zones for Lights under Light Settings to turn off specific zones if needed.
