Stick up cam, no recordings
Hi all, I have 2 stick up cams and a doorbell pro. 1 of my stick ups is having an issue. It is getting triggered by motion and records it, but when I look back on the recordings it is just black with no sound. The same thing happens when going into live view. The loading wheel spins saying “activating device” and doesn’t load at all, again when I look back on the recordings it is just black with no sound. I have done the trouble shooting stuff: I have a mesh network so signal strength is good, I have also restarted the Wi-fi to make sure. I have restarted and reinstalled the camera and app.

Hey there, @Momentai. It sounds like the video is never connecting despite attempting recordings and live views. Thank you for covering the steps you mentioned! As it sounds like this is only happening with one of your Ring devices, try removing power (plug/battery) from the Camera, waiting a moment, and reintroducing power to perform a power cycle. If this does not help, try performing a reset by holding the setup button on this Stick Up Cam for 20 seconds. I hope this helps! :)
