Unable to reconnect after battery recharge. Tried all resets over and over. What do red lights in battery compartment signify. How do check if device has failed. Thank you.

Yes except for red light coming on inside body when inserting battery. Thanks for replying.

Hi @user_309620. The solid red light in the battery hatch indicates that the charged battery is connected. Have you tried to walk through a new setup using the steps under Set Up a Device? Are you receiving a specific error message in the Ring app when you try to reconnect the Spotlight Cam? If possible, please share a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end.

UThanks for your reply. I could not find any reference to what the red light is for, either in the instruction book, or online, so clears up that doubt. Haven’t received any error messages in the app, but will go through the setup again and check for an error message and report back. Does the error message come up in the set up pages or somewhere else. Thank you for your help.
