Ring Alarm interaction with Floodlight Camera when armed
On Armed mode how do I ensure that the floodlight cameras notify me of movement but don’t trigger the alarm system. It seems you can have one but not both at the same time. Many thanks
Hey @gtlondon. When armed in Away mode, the Floodlight Cam will be on for your motion detection and however you have it, but if you have the Floodlight Cam detect motion, it will not set off the alarm. Your alarm will still be armed in Away, but as long as the Alarm is not tripped, you do not have to worry about the alarm going off. You will still get alerts for anytime motion is detected if you ensure you have motion alerts turned on! :)
