My Stick Up Gen 3 plug in camera thinks it is battery operated
hardwired-security-cameras
I purchased 2 hardwired stick up Gen 3 cameras a year ago. In the past month, one of them has decided it is battery operated. I noticed it when it stopped giving me the 90 seconds of recording I had it set for. Now it will only record for 15 to 20 seconds. 15/20 seconds is too short of a recording. It is still working otherwise. I'm getting live view and snapshots. The app says battery power unknown. Is there a fix for this?

Hi @JuneB. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps for this concern yet? If the power source is registering as unknown, then it may be a good idea to try resetting your Stick Up Cam and setting it back up to make sure it's registering the correct power source. To do this, you'll need to hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that, you'll reconnect it to your wifi network in the Ring App and then test out an event and make sure the correct power source is displayed on the Device Health page. Let me know how this works for you. :)
