Floodlights coming on during the day

I have a problem with my Ring security camera in that the floodlights come on when motion is detected during the day.Also, I don't seem to be able to manually disable the lights from coming when it is dark. If I toggle the manual lights control to off when its dark. Any motion turns them back on regardless.Anyone else seeing this issue or knows of a resolution?Thanks
