Convert plug-in spotlight to hardwire configuration

Question

I am trying to find step-by-step instructions to convert a plug-in spotlight camera to a hardwired configuration.   is there a kit to do this?   I’ve only found ring kits to mount/connect a 'wired' spotlight camera to house wires, not a plug-in camera.     Do you just cut the plug-in cord and pass through a hole drilled through the mounting plate?    Expose cut ends of cord and connect to house wires with wire nuts?   Thanks?

Hi @user_12e7ec. The Spotlight Cam Plus Wired comes with a Hardwired Kit to connect the camera to high-voltage wiring. This option is only available for the Spotlight Cam Plus or Pro. If you have a previous generation of Spotlight Cam, you cannot use the Hardwired Kit to convert it from battery or plug-in to hardwired.
