Camera light not working when motion detected

My spotlight camera motion is not activating at times and the light is not turning on. I can access the camera on my app and when I switch the light on it will work. However, when there is motion is detected sometimes lights do not work or the camera does not pick up any motion

Hi @user_ed73a6. To have the light on your Spotlight Cam turn on when motion is detected at night, the Motion-Activated Lights toggle, found under Light Settings, will need to be turned on. Additionally, it must be dark enough outside for the light to come on. Motion detection issues can usually be resolved by editing your Motion Zones, and increasing the Motion Sensitivity as needed. If you have a Ring Home plan, you'll also have access to Smart Alerts to further refine your motion alerts and recording.
