I recently purchased a Ring Alarm Gen 2 system and I installed it. I am trying to turn on the Professional Monitoring for the system and get the following error This system may not be compatible with your region. We recommend that you use the correct Ring Alarm system for your region. I was told by Ring that the Gen 2 system is supported in Ontario Canada for monitoring. Why can't I turn it on?

Hi @Discman07. Professional Monitoring is available in Canada, with the exception of Quebec. If you are getting that message, it is most likely due to your Base Station being made for a different region. The next best step is to give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) for further assistance.
