My plan just renewed however I had no warning
I am subscribed to emails so I get the regular spam asking me to spend more cash on products however I did not get a notification that my plan renewal was due until my bank made the payment. Under UK consumer law, or at the very least, common courtesy isn’t this an omission?

I signed up for an annual plan. And money taken from my bank account. My account though shows this initial payment was then refunded (not to my bank) but used as ring credit and monthly payments then taken. Meaning Ring has not honoured my cheaper price of an annual subscription and found a way to charge more by collecting monthly payments. This is fraud and I will be reporting it to the financial ombudsman if not looked into as they will know if others have had the same Scam happen to others by Ring.

Hi @user_1daaea. When you sign up for a plan, you are agreeing to be charged monthly/annually with an automatic renewal. You can read more about this in Rings Terms Of Service here.
