Disable auto renew

I have Two subscriptions, I dont want them to renew. Your sites isn’t clear, there is no option to turn off auto-renew only cancel, If I cancel will my current subscription run for the period I have paid for, or be removed? Also if I goto remove card so subscription cannot be renewed there is a message saying current subscriptions may be cancelled? Why is this? It seems a childish feature.
