I currently have Home Standard for the cameras / chimes I have at home can I add Ring Security pack to this plan, also does the siren require permanent power supply or is it battery powered

You can add the Alarm System to your current plan, no extra charge. The Outdoor Siren comes with D-Cells as standard and can work with just those. They last around 2 years. You can add a hardwire kit which adds illumination of the Ring logo, the D-Cells become a back-up solution and can last considerably longer as a result. You could add a Ring Battery Pack and Solar Panel. This would give you illumination too, but the solar panel will need to be south-facing.

HI @user_15edea. The Outdoor Siren is a Ring Alarm component, so you do need a Ring Alarm Security System set up on your account in order to add it. The Outdoor Siren includes 3 D batteries, and you can add a Solar Panel and Quick Release Battery Pack.
