Ring chime works SOMETIMES. Sometimes it doesnt??

I had two parcels delivered within an hour and a half of each other. The first time the doorbell rung, the chime went off. The second time, it didn't. I'm so tired of this. I've reset it (and the doorbell) multiple times, I've changed sockets, I've paired and unpaired it, when I test the volume from my app it works every time but it just ignores the doorbell sometimes?? The doorbell is wired. The chime is online, I can see it online, it doesn't lose connection, ATM it's literally plugged into the socket the wifi is connected to but I've moved it around the house and yet it only works 50% of the time!! Please help me (or recommend another company I cant keep missing parcels like this).
