Is the Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter (Barrel Plug) compatible with the Spotlight Cam Battery?
It turns out that pretty close to where I have installed my Ring Spotlight Cam, there's an outdoor wall plug. It was originally intended for holiday lighting, but it seems like there should be a way to make it work to keep my Spotlight Cam's battery topped up all the time. I know that the Spotlight Cam is compatible with a solar panel, but this location isn't good for a solar panel. It's on the north side of my house, under a tree. The Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter (Barrel Plug) only mentions the Stickup Cam by name, but I'm hoping that both the Stickup Cam and the Spotlight Cam will accept similar power inputs.

Hi there, @Socrimedes! At this time, there is not a plug in power accessory for the Spotlight Camera Battery version, other than the Solar Panel. As you mentioned the amount of sunlight received in the area not being sufficient for an effective solar charge, the next best option would be an extra/ back up battery. If you are interested in adding to your "Ring of security", the Spotlight Camera Wired version sounds like it would fit well here.
