Ring spotlight cam pro forgets solar

I have a ring spotlight cam pro with a compatible solar panel. Ring is lying saying only ring solar panels are compatible. I mean lying. They refuse to help. When I plugged In the panel it showed charging but not connected. In the morning it's not charging. If I unplugged the connector and plug it in it starts charging.
