Ring and echo show 5
troubleshooting
amazon-alexa
I have set routines with my ring doorbell, and spotlight cams with my echo show 5. When any of the cameras detect motion or if the doorbell rings the echo show 5 does show the cameras views, however, if no one is home to tell Alexa to hide camera feeds or physically press the back button on the screen, the camera feed stays on for a long time approximately 5 mins which is draining the cameras batteries far too quick. Can anyone advise?

Hi @user38036. You may want to try reviewing your Routine settings in the Alexa app to see if you can set specific days or times for when a particular Routine is active. Otherwise, you can go into the Alexa app to disable a Routine when you're away from home, then enable it once you return home.
