Can you please help reset?Hello @M85 ,In order for you to use this device that "they" told you belonged to someone else, you need for the previous "older" owner to relinquish their "Ownership" of that device, or else it can not be used or setup by anyone else on their Ring account. One aspect of "Ownership" is that it keeps Ring devices from being reset or reassigned in cases of theft. So this device still "thinks" it is owned by the "old" owner. That "old" owner would need to log onto their Ring App and:- Tap Main Menu (the 3 horizontal line icon, upper-left-corner of dashboard).- Tap **Devices.**- Select the device/doorbell you wish to remove.- Tap **Device Settings** (Gear shaped icon).- Tap **General Settings**.- Tap **Remove This Device**.Explanation of "Ownership:[https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025997592-Ownership-of-a-Ring-Device](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025997592-Ownership-of-a-Ring-Device)Taking over a previously owned device when "Ownership" has not been released:[https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-I-Would-Like-to-Take-Over-Change-Ownership-of-Ring-Devices](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-I-Would-Like-to-Take-Over-Change-Ownership-of-Ring-Devices)If you can find out who the "old" owner is, you can get them to release the device. Otherwise, you will have to telephone Ring Support for help:[https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch)Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, their available hours have been changed also:[https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041597471-Ring-s-Response-to-COVID-19](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041597471-Ring-s-Response-to-COVID-19)
