Outdoor stick up camera and weather
I want to mount my stick up cameras facing my house but I’m concerned about weather. If I mount on my deck I’m concerned about snow accumulating in front of it.If I mount on a tree do I need to cover it somehow ?

Thanks for the reply. I have thought I could attach camera to a tree because snow accumulates on my deck. Still, I don't know how to protect it and still maintain a normal field of view. Do people cover part of camera with plastic without covering the "eye" of the camera ? Or is it possible to assemble a covering ?

Hi @Babylady317. I would monitor your cameras placement. If it appears that snow is a concern, try an alternate location or put the camera under a cover. It is also important to note that in cold weather, battery life is decrease. I hope this helps.
