I WANT to detect bugs and spiders

Question

Is there a ring camera that WILL detect bugs, spiders and snakes?  We have a basement door that bugs and spiders get through. We have sealed up everything, but they still get in. We have sticky insect catchmaster pads that catch so many bugs and spiders, and even a small snake! I want to set up a motion camera to see how the bugs and critters are coming in.

Hi @user_ad439a. Smaller creatures like bugs and spiders can trigger the motion detection on Ring Cameras, but only if they get very close to the camera. However, we do have select wired cameras that are compatible with the 24/7 Recording feature. A Ring Home Premium plan is required to use this feature, but it might be what you're looking for.
