Emergency contact vs owner?

Hello. Should my number (owner) be the first emergency contact listed? In some documentation it reads that ring will contact you, then continue to contact emergency contacts in order of list. So I’m a little confused. I’d like to have myself, then 3 others...but I’m not sure this is possible.
