2nd Gen support & Sprinklr_Community
Hi,Before I jump into Ring products and purchase a Doorbell and 4 cameras, I have a question. How long will 2nd Gen products continue to work and get support? I know this is a (how long is a piece of string) hard question, as tech always develops over time. But some clarity on future support would be good. I would like some confidence that in the future all my Ring cameras will continue to work even if they are no longer supported. (Until I am ready to upgrade, and not forced to with redundant kit). To put this question into context, I have been stitched up twice in the past. My SWANN Security cameras were turned into paper weights. Nothing wrong with them, just old and the app didn't support them anymore. (Which is why I am looking at Ring).SONOS did a similar thing, old and new products were incompatible and it cost me nearly £XXXX on a forced upgrade. I just dont want to be going down the same road again.... Also, what is the "Sprinklr_Community" that I had to give access to my account? Thanks, Des.

From the Ring website, specifically the Doorbell 2nd Generation: "This device receives guaranteed software security updates until at least four years after the device is last available for purchase as a new unit on our websites. Learn more. If you already own a Ring device, visit Software Security Updates in Ring Control Centre for information specific to your device."
