Continuing the discussion from [Allow Motion Alerts for specific zones while others just do recordings](https://community.ring.com/t/allow-motion-alerts-for-specific-zones-while-others-just-do-recordings/14621):I just persumed that I could record every time someone walked past but only receive a notification if they walked on my drive towards the front door. Such an obvious and simple request !
