Samsung Wearables only receiving notification, but no picture

For years, my Samsung wearables, including the new Samsung Ultra have always included a picture with a notification.  But within the last week all I get is a notification.   I have not changed anything within the Ring app, nor my Samsung wearable app. I find many Samsung wearable owners are now experiencing the same issue.  We've approached Samsung tech support and they point the finger at RING.   SO who updated what and didn't bother to check if it broke something????
