I have linked my z-wave motorized shades to my Ring system and can control them in the Ring app. However, those devices do not show up in Alexa with the Ring integration. I can see my other Ring devices (Ring hub, motion sensor, etc.), but not the additional z-wave devices. Is there something else I need to do for those to be discoverable by Alexa?

Hi @sackers. There are no Z-wave shades that are Certified by Ring, which would give them the ability to be used with Alexa. This Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026427491-Works-With-Ring-Basic-Information) has more information on "Works with Ring" and devices that are Certified. You can reach out to the manufacturer of the shades or [Alexa support](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202009680) to find out if there is a way to control them through Alexa without Ring integration.

I'm having the same issue. My trouble is, all my z-wave switches worked until last week. Then suddenly a new one added wouldn't appear in my alexa devices, so I followed their bologna advice, disabled the ring skill, deleted all my devices by hand, enabled the skill again, and now I lost control of ALL my z-wave devices via alexa. It seems this is an Amazon issue, since all those devices are still available in the ring app. OP did you ever find a solution?

Facing the same problem. Alexa cannot discover new devices, including a device that Alexa discovered last week that I removed and tried to add back in. Disabling and enabling the skill does not resolve this issue. Someone please help!

Having the same issue. Z-wave devices that you connect to the Ring Alarm Pro used to automatically show up as available devices in Alexa. These Z-wave devices no long show up in Alexa and it seems there is no way to add them to Alexa. You can see the Z-wave devices in the Ring app and control them there, but without Alexa you're unable to automate any of those devices. Please help!
